Certificate of Unenforceability (Northern Ireland)

A judgment has been filed with the Court against the debtor but the Court has issued a certificate for the debtor’s protection which serves to prevent collection of the debt at that time. The certificate is issued as part of a Bankruptcy action and remains in force for six months. After this time, the creditor may re-apply to have the debt paid.
