"As a database developer my main areas of responsibility include writing SQL scripts, unit testing, code fixes and enhancements.  My team members and I work closely together in producing work of a high quality and standard. The subject matter is very interesting, and complicated at times which makes the challenges and learning curve all the more rewarding.

I have a Bachelors Degree of Technology from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I graduated in 2006 and spent my first 2 and a half years after graduation working as a software developer for a legal software company in Cape Town.

One of the things I enjoy the most is that I work with friendly and knowledgeable colleagues who have enabled me to enhance my skill set. Their dedication and enthusiasm for the job is fantastic which in turn inspires me and makes my job more rewarding.

The settling in transition has been smooth and everybody is so welcoming and helpful.
