Melanie (Mel) Mitchley has been appointed Director of Industry Relationships, responsible for developing Callcredit's relationships with relevant industry bodies, trade associations, government departments and other regulatory organisations. This role demonstrates the importance of our engagement with all parties within the Industry, monitoring developments and ensuring our views are well represented. Mel's work at GE Consumer Finance and before that at Alliance & Leicester has provided her a wealth of practical experience.
Mel began her career at HSBC, then spent seven years at First Direct before moving to Abbey. Her career then took her to Alliance & Leicester as Head of Credit & Risk before switching to GE Consumer Finance as Head of Portfolio Risk & Decision Systems and latterly as Head of Fraud.
