In 2002, the Skipton Building Society brought together its information businesses, Callcredit, EuroDirect and GMAP Consulting, under the umbrella name of the Skipton Information Group (SIG). In 2007/8 the group further added to its product and service offering by acquiring Legatio, Decisionmetrics and Broadsystem and in May 2008 rebranded to the Callcredit Information Group (CIG). By consolidating these companies, a stronger platform has been successfully created which satisfies the increasingly sophisticated information needs of its international client base right across the customer lifecycle.
